Growing up we visited at least once a year the city of Ibarra, it was a way to enjoy the holidays or the weekend away from the big city and at the same time visit the family and stay at my grandparent’s hacienda. I have witnessed the changes and growth of the city and I find that there are many reasons to visit Ibarrat, that is what I want to share today with you.

Helados de Paila makes part of the cultural traditions of this city, make sure to visit the traditional place or the place where these ice creams started, to taste the best helados de paila in the city.
Nogadas, arrope de mora are other traditional desserts that are a must and that growing up we used to buy each time we visited the family and my grandparents hacienda.
