Hi! My name is Raquel, and I am currently studying for a degree in Tourism Management. Quito is where I lived my entire life. My dream is to travel Ecuador and the whole world because I think is a beautiful planet with so much to experience. And that’s exactly why I’m passionate about tourism because is a way to experience the world and learn about myself and others.
I think Ecuador has a lot of potential for tourist development and it can be a tool for improving the quality of life of local people and addressing some environmental issues because preserving and conserving the natural and cultural resources means a sustainable source of income for tourist activity.
I want to write about the wonderful experiences that tourism can create and recommend attractive places that need more visibility to give an insight into the true value of both the tangible and intangible parts that create an experience and show.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Raquel, y actualmente estoy estudiando una licenciatura en Turismo. Quito es donde viví toda mi vida. Mi sueño es viajar por Ecuador y el mundo entero, porque creo que es un planeta hermoso con mucho que experimentar. Y es exactamente por eso lo que me apasiona del turismo, que es una forma de experimentar el mundo y aprender sobre mí mismo y sobre los demás.
Creo que Ecuador tiene mucho potencial para el desarrollo turístico y puede ser una herramienta para mejorar la calidad de vida de la población local y abordar algunos problemas ambientales, porque preservar y conservar los recursos naturales y culturales significa una fuente sostenible de ingresos para la actividad turística.
Quiero escribir sobre las maravillosas experiencias que el turismo puede crear, para recomendar lugares atractivos que necesitan mayor visibilidad para dar una idea del verdadero valor de las partes tangibles e intangibles que crean una experiencia.
