Everglades Thrill at Sawgrass
Embark on a full-day tour to feel the exhilaration of the Everglades at Sawgrass. It may take some time to get there by car, but the journey is worth it. Witness the unique ecosystem, encounter wildlife, and immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of the Everglades.
Our half-hour tour allowed us to admire some pretty amazing views and very dramatic scenery as there was an imminent storm and that made the scenery even more special.
We stopped to get some explanations on our tour. Three types of grass are part of the Everglades ecosystem. cattails which contain aloe vera

After the tour we went to the wildlife exhibit which allowed visitors to admire not only gators and crocodiles and learn more about them, but also other species to create awareness of the importance of taking care of the environment and our important role.
We had a Knowledgeable guide that showed us the behavior of gators, there is no risk unless you step on them or get close. They defend their territory but there are very few fatalities. Less than the ones caused by cows!

After our shopping spree at Sawgrass, we went to meet cousin Fernando, his wife, and son at Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. We found a nice restaurant ideally located by the seaside called Cafe del Mar, offering tasty seafood, 2×1 cocktails, and live entertainment.
